  1. Connect the Hanwha to the network
  2. Power it on
  3. Open a web browser and navigate to the device’s IP address
  4. Login with the configured or supplied password for the admin user
  5. Click the ‘Setup’ button

Create a video profile that will be used during VoIP calls to CyberGate.

  1. Navigate to Basic → Video Profile

  2. Click ‘Add’ to create a new VoIP profile

  3. Configure the following settings:

Hanwha Video Profile Configuration


Enable the SIP protocol which is necessary for communication with CyberGate.

  1. Navigate to Intercom → Call Setup

Hanwha SIP Account Configuration

  1. Remove the default ‘peer-to-peer’ account by selecting and deleting it

  2. Click ‘Apply’ to confirm

  3. Check the status to verify registration was successful

Configure the Teams user to call when the call button is pressed.

  1. Navigate to Intercom → Recipient

  1. Click ‘Add’ to create a new recipient

  2. Configure the following settings:

Use the format: sip:first.last@cybergate.cybertwice.com

Example:
For Teams user Koos Ridder with email koos.ridder@mycompany.com
Enter: sip:koos.ridder@cybergate.cybertwice.com

  1. Click ‘OK’ to confirm

  2. Click ‘Apply’ to save

Hanwha Recipient Configuration


Set up a DTMF code to open the door during a call.

  1. Navigate to Intercom → DTMF & Tampering switch

Configuration of the Hanwha is now complete!

  1. Press the button on the Hanwha to call the configured Teams recipient

  2. If configured correctly, the Teams client will ring

  3. Answer the call by clicking the answer button

  4. The call will be established and video will display within approximately 3 seconds

  1. Click on the three dots () in the Teams call screen

  2. Select ‘Keypad’

  3. Enter the DTMF code (configured in the DTMF & Tampering switch menu) to open the door

Replace username with the Teams user’s email prefix (the part before @).


To use the CyberGate App, you need a subscription to one of the following CyberGate SaaS solutions:

  • ✅ CyberGate for IP Cameras with Teams
  • ✅ CyberGate for IP Paging with Teams
  • ✅ CyberGate for IP Intercoms with Teams

The CyberGate Teams app provides three main features:

  1. Open Microsoft Teams and click on the ‘Apps’ button in the sidebar

  2. Search for ‘cybergate’

  1. Click ‘Add’ to add CyberGate to Microsoft Teams

Note: You may be asked to provide consent for basic permissions (View your basic profile, Maintain access to data you have given it access to). Accept these permissions to use the app.

  1. After installation, the CyberGate app will open and show the availability menu

  2. Pin the app (recommended): Right-click on the CyberGate icon and select ‘Pin’

The CyberGate app uses the same credentials as Microsoft Teams and automatically retrieves information about Multi-ring groups you belong to.

In this example, the user koos.ridder@cybertwice.com is part of two Multi-ring groups:

Note: Availability status changes take effect immediately.

Tip: To configure the supervisor role for a Multi-ring group, use the CyberGate Management Portal.


The Devices menu shows an overview of all configured devices in your Tenant, sorted by location. You can filter results to find specific devices.

Each device tile displays:

If a device is configured to receive calls from Microsoft Teams, a Connect button will appear. Clicking this button initiates a call to the device.

Note: The devices shown to a user can be limited using the Device access settings in the CyberGate Management Portal.


During a call between the intercom and a Teams user, you can easily open the door by clicking a button on the sidebar.

  1. Log in to the CyberGate Management Portal

  2. Navigate to Basic → Device

  2. Fill in the ‘Open door code’

Important: The ‘Open door code’ must match the configured open door code in the intercom device!

  1. Click the blue ‘Update’ button
  1. Make a call from the intercom to your Teams client and accept the call

  2. Click on the ‘Apps’ icon in the top bar

  1. Press ‘Save’ to continue
  1. A sidebar opens on the left of the call window with the Open door button

  1. Click the button to open the door

  2. End the call when finished

Tip: The Open door button can be added to all future calls by clicking on the CyberGate icon in the top bar during any call.
