Fasttel Wizard Elite and CyberGate
Configure the Fasttel Wizard Elite IP for CyberGate
This document uses the Fasttel Wizard Elite IP FT2501 PVC (from now on named 'Fasttel') to connect to the CyberGate service (from now on named 'CyberGate'). Follow the steps below to configure the Fasttel to connect it to CyberGate.
Connect to the Fasttel web interface
- Connect the Fasttel to the network and power it on.
- Open a web browser and browse to the IP address of the Fasttel.
- Sign in as admin with the configured or supplied password of the Fasttel.
When signed in successfully, the first menu shown is the Status menu.
Add the Teams user to the Phone Directory
- Navigate to the Phone Directory menu.
- Provide / change the following information:
Phone Directory | |

Display Name | Enter a name for the account (e.g. Teams User) |
Phone Number | Use the Teams user address without the domain part |
For example, the user 'Koos Ridder', with the Teams name [email protected], will translate to this destination address: koos.ridder
- Click the green check button when done.
Configure the SIP connection settings
- Navigate to the SIP Connection Settings menu.
- Provide / change the following information:

SIP Transport | Change UDP to TCP |
- Click the blue Apply button when done.
Verify the SIP registration
- Navigate back to the Status menu.
- Check that the SIP Registration Status shows Registered and the Diagnostics Status shows OK.
Configuration of the Fasttel is now done.
Test the intercom call in Microsoft Teams
- Press the button on the Fasttel to initiate a call to the configured Teams user.
- If configured correctly, the Teams client will notify you of an incoming call. Answer it by clicking the camera symbol.
The call will be established and video will be displayed within ±3 seconds.
Open the door from the Teams call
- In the call screen, click the three dots (...) and select Keypad.
- Enter the configured code (the default code for the Fasttel is 2). This triggers the relay in the Fasttel and opens the door.

CyberGate App for Microsoft Teams
The CyberGate App for Microsoft Teams offers more CyberGate features directly from Microsoft Teams. One of these features is the Open-door button. This button can be utilized during a call to CyberGate and lets you open the the door by clicking just one button.
